Whether it’s hosting an intimate celebration or planning an entire wedding day for you and 100 guests, our philosophy is simple: to create the wedding of your dreams.
The Ardington Hotel is the perfect elegant and intimate wedding venue in Worthing, West Sussex. We have a Civil Ceremonies Licence for up to 70 guests and are able to offer a comprehensive range of bespoke sit-down and buffet menus for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.
We have six private dining rooms to choose from of which taking into consideration current Government guidelines, 4 are ideal for Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies for up to 15 guests. The Eden room also has it’s own private Courtyard Garden
When we all return to normality ( hopefully very soon !!) you will alternatively be able to book exclusive use of our Indigo Restaurant which can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for a Wedding Reception and 150 guests for Evening Reception and Disco. For smaller Wedding Celebrations both the Eden room and Venetian room overlooking Steyne Gardens can comfortably seat up to 45 guests for a Wedding Breakfast. All private dining rooms are situated on the ground floor and in close proximity to Indigo Lounge and Bar should you wish to welcome your guests here rather than in your private room.
To ensure your event goes smoothly and all your requirements are met, one of our managers, Richard or Simon, will meet with you beforehand. They’ll be your sole point of contact for the planning. And on the day of your event, our Restaurant Manager will be present to ensure that everything is exactly as you wish.
Our Food
Our Indigo Restaurant and kitchen has for the past 2 consecutive years been awarded a AA Rosette in recognition of the high standard of our cuisine and restaurant service, the Ardington Hotel and Indigo Restaurant is the only Wedding Venue in Worthing and neighbouring areas with this prestigious accolade. All dishes are prepared from scratch by our chefs, using only the best seasonal fresh ingredients, and will be of the same culinary standard and presentation of those enjoyed in our AA Rosette-awarded Indigo Restaurant. If any of your guests have special dietary requirements, let us know beforehand and we’ll be happy to cater for them.
All private rooms have their own exclusive sound system, enabling you to play your own choice of music if you wish. Or, if you prefer, we can provide suitable background music. You are welcome to arrange your own entertainment, such as a disco or band, or we can organise this for you on your behalf. Our contacts include magicians, professional musicians and singers, photo booth and casino companies and even pickpockets! (Please note that all music must end by midnight at the latest.)
In addition to bands and DJs, we can help suggest florists, cake suppliers and photographers if you need. Either Richard or Simon (the fourth generation of the family to have owned the Ardington since 1928) will personally help you plan your special day, and will do their utmost to ensure it’s a day you’ll treasure forever.
If your guests will be arriving by car, we can arrange preferential parking rates in Steyne Gardens or at the High Street Multi-Storey car park.
